Great food. Better than most Mexican restaurants. The bobs queso is phenomenal. Wish there were more matts restaurants. Y'all deserve to be a big name food chain. Keep up the great work This is the only place to serve a variety of foods .

Terrible food experience. We order the grilled cheese for my son the sandwich wasn’t cooked the block of cheese was still sitting unmelted between two blocks of dry bread. The nachos had a long white hair in them. When I shared with the waitress she laughed and said “we’re understaffed people just don’t care like they should.”

After dinning at Matt's several times we have decided it's a waste of time and money. The staff is clueless and will serve you what they think you ordered. We dine out at least three times a week. NO MORE MATTS! The food is always too salty and the atmosphere is below inviting. Worst Mexican restaurant in the metroplex!!! Buyer be aware!

Great TexMex. Their chips and salsa are fantastic. We normally grab a batch to take home and enjoy as well.

Great big chips!Salsa tasted spicy and fresh but a bit cold and thin making it difficult to dip those awesome monster chips in. The margarita reciepe needs a makeover. Perhaps it was just a sour batch. Staff was super friendly. I really enjoyed my time there.

This place had some really good food. It was made to my liking so no no complaints. For us to have a big party the server was really good. She made sure we had everything we needed.

Matt's is a great place for the whole family. Their take on chicken fried steak is amazing with 4 different ways to choose from. The service is top notch and the restaurant is always clean and that's why me and my family have been coming here for years. Matt's is definitely a great idea if you are trying to figure out what to do for dinner or any special occasion. Come find out for yourself.

Just ate here. The food was amazing. Our waiter Tanner which was very sweet wonderful man. Suggested I try the chili relleno. It was wonderful. spoke to the manager Josh and told him we really enjoyed her our first time visit. Told him that we was very happy with our waiter. Everything was amazing rating at five stars. We will come back.

Matt's is always a weekly favorite for us. My favorite is the Chicken Chile relleno with pecans and raisins covered with queso. The shrimp cocktail is wonderful and can be a meal in itself. Been going to Matt's for years and waitstaff is always great too.

We have been to this place no less than 250 times. Every time we have had a phenomenal experience. Except this time. Multiple times they “fixed” our order, it was still wrong. The server and the manager don’t seem to know what they’re doing. Matt, hire competent people! I’d LOVE to hear back from the GM- Tony and/ or Matt!

I've always thoroughly enjoyed Matt's Rancho Martinez,except for the last time I visited there the chicken in the enchiladas was obviously from a can, I could not believe it. Canned chicken has a very distinct smell and taste. Extremely disappointed!!! I hope this is an isolated incident and not normal operating procedure.

Happy hour apps and drinks are great! Fun date night place with good service and great flavor.

Happen to be staying nearby and decided for some Mexican foodCame during the week day and late afternoon so wasn't busy... There place gives free chips and free salsa... The salsa was less than mild spicy for me but definitely had a good taste to itOrdered the taco dinner with pulled pork...quite the portion size however the pulled pork tacos could have had more flavor to it. Service was good however would have to revise again during a busier times

This is a really good family restaurant. It has everything you would be looking for. A casual atmosphere, fun decorations, a great wait-staff, very good food, big portions and very reasonable prices. I had assumed that the menu would be all Mexican food but they had a nice selection of other items. Their chips and salsa were awesome. As I am from Arizona and have ready access to good Mexican food all the time I decided to go with the chicken fried steak. OMG it was HUGE! Looking around at other tables I could see that portion sizes of all the dinners were very big. You are not going to leave this place hungry. Their prices are very reasonable, even more so when you take into account the amount of food you get. I would most definitely eat here again

The restraunt is great and so are the people that it is named after. I have very fond memories of both. Plus my Awesome friend took me out to eat there as well as my father and the service is great and I can't think of anything they could do to improve the place.

I prefer this restaurant a lot. there is a romantic atmosphere. The food is marvelous. the service is efficient and the waiters are very professional. The cost is fair. I warmly recommend.

I've been eating here on and off for a few years now because of their gluten free menu. I haven't eaten there in a while because last time I got a meal I had a reaction. Please take more care in the kitchen of cross-contamination. I really want to eat there again!

We received awesome customer service which is very important when we go out to eat! The sour cream chicken enchiladas were excellent and the sangria margarita was delicious. We will definitely be back and soon!

My son and I went for dinner on 2/2/20 and arrived about 5:15 it wasn't busy and we got seated in a section with one other table of customers. We waited ten minutes for service and when our waitress arrived she had a attitude right from the start. She was so rude, she spilled our salsa and didn't even both to clean it up or bring us another napkin( we cleaned it up and asked for another napkin). She brought us two more napkins with our food that she basically slammed down in front of us and made some snide remark so I said Good grief to my son (NOT to her) and she said umm hum in a tone that was so mean. She stared at us from the other side of the restaurant until my son got up and told the manager what she did so he sent a new waiter for us. She was the rudest server and we have been going to that location for years. I have no idea what we did to her.

Open for business inside and following safety precautions to keep people safe. Gloves, masks, social distancing are all being followed. Hand sanitizer at entrance, touch-less paper towel machine in bathrooms. Service Ramon gave was fantastic and quick. Fajitas were amazing and Ramon offered suggestions to make them keto friendly.

Great service as always. They have really good margaritas. And the bob Armstrong dip always has us coming back for more. Still a favorite. Especially with all the gluten free options. I believe I counted 4 things on the menu that weren't gluten free, and there must be over 30 items on the menu. Very nice to have a wide selection as someone with celiac.

Love this place! From their cheese dip, their chips and salsa, to their Bob's Style Chicken Fried Steak, it's all great.Restaurant is well maintained and clean. Staff is amazing. Never had a bad experience with service here, always great. Happy hour specials too. A great all around place

There is nothing TexMex about this place at all. Don't come here for Fajitas as it is all "Stir Fry" type. Not TexMex.Limited menu, limited selection. This is a good lunch spot but not a place for high expectations.The "service" is Fantastic but I don't see myself coming here again. The salsa was below average, the chips where crumbles and the main dish was was over-salted and less than average.Its the highest rated place Iv'e been to that I would not revisit.

Stopped in because of all the great reviews. Had to agree...the food was spectacular. But the service was absolutely pathetic. They were not that busy. Had 10 minute wait for service, then they never refilled my water, waited another 10 to pay and had to ask another server to get my server so I could. Food great, service horrible.

The Bob Armstrong dip is delicious as well as the salmon! The $3 house margarita during happy hour was good (and strong 😉) Thomas S. is an incredible waiter!

GREAT food. My husband had their chili rejeno and said it was the best one he ever ate. Our server was great, efficient, friendly and funny. Our friends really enjoyed it, too. On Sunday, they have $3 and $4 margaritas and they were delish. Definitely recommend this place and take your friends. Reservations for party of 6+.

I don't know what the big deal is. The line is always out the door. I was not impressed. Service was amazing, personal are very friendly. The food was nothing to brag about though.

Yum!!! Matt’s Rancho Martinez is delicious! Their bowls of queso are very generous and tasty! Chips are thin but not delicate. Beef fajitas were also very generous and well seasoned. The hiuse frozen margarita was perfect mix of sweet and sour and also seemed to be larger than lots of their restaurants. Kids Mac and cheese was really macaroni and queso. May have to order that myself sometime. Atmosphere is great and service was good too!

Food is fast...that is good and bad. If your looking for a quick bite great, but quality could be better. Jalapeno margarita was good but very full of ice.

Did take out we got the chicken fajitas the beef enchiladas and the queso dip with sour cream and quac in it and omg every single bite was delicious and so many left overs!

It's a solid Tex-Mex place. My BF loved the Mexican pizza! Their salsa is a nice salsa fresca type of salsa.

I loved the tacos. Ordered to go and waited in the bar. Not overly crowded for a week night. Bar service is great. Food was ready before we finished our drinks. Hate to leave an unfinished drink, so the food was cold. Our fault, not theirs. Next time, drink first. Order later. Enjoy!!

No issues just nothing special. Chips and salsa were boring. Classic fare TexMex lunch like you'll find anywhere. Can't recommend.

We are relatively new to the Dallas area and have been in search of a good Tex-Mex restaurant. We decided to try Matt's one Sunday afternoon and are very glad we did!Once we arrived it was only a couple of minutes before we were seated and introduced to our waiter, Thomas, who is a top notch server! He was very friendly, personable, and extremely helpful!Since it was our first visit I asked his recommendation and he recommended the Beef Burrito Entree, and it was delicious. My wife had the soft taco plate which she said had great flavor! Both had generous helpings!The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with a modern neo western flair! When we got the ticket we were pleasantly surprised. We've spent almost as much at fast food restaurants! We highly recommend Matt's. It's our new go-to Tex Mex restaurant!

The food was okay. Kind of bland, BUT the staff was EXCELLENT. VERY sweet waitress! Nothing to write home about. More Tex than Mex.

They offer a fantastic variety of delicious food. I loved eating here. Staff members are always friendly, pricing is fair and the place is always neat.

Service was great. The server was friendly and prompt. The rice and salsa were good. I had the super burrito. Tortilla was chewy and definitely not homemade. The chicken lacked flavor and tasted like it came from a can. Definitely wouldn’t be my first choice for good Tex-mex.

Really good place with surprisingly good burgers. The manager (I think, he had different clothing) is our waiter a lot somehow and is very nice.

Sat at the bar and had the queso and cocktails. Both were very good. Service from the bartenders was awesome even though it was very busy. Very lively bar area which was fun. The staff had smiles on their faces which tells me they like where they work. Nice place!

Not the best experience. This was our first visit here. My enchiladas were good. Wife and daughter had beef fajitas which were not that great. The meat was cut very small and did not have a lot of flavor. The corn tortillas tasted like they were cheap and store bought. The chips were good and the salsa was awesome. Reaturant was nice and clean with a great atmosphere.

Wow! This place has very fast service and the food is great! The parking is almost full on a Thursday night around 6pm, but i could get a table right away. The very courteous server, Constanza, was there with the chips and salsa to help me with drink and food ordering within 30 seconds of sitting down at the table. The drink came out 5 minutes later (large frozen Margarita for $4 during happy hours) and the food followed almost immediately in a hot plate... Highly recommended if you haven't been there...
